Big, big update from last Thursday’s Tommy Hilfiger Breast Health International Limited Edition Bag Madrid Launch today!

First off, we have a few reports from the event. Interesting report #1 from ThinkSpain.com:

Actress and model Milla Jovovich presented the latest Tommy Hilfiger handbag in Madrid this week, the sales of which will fund cancer care. Having lost some female friends to the disease, it is a cause very close to Milla’s heart.

The Ukraine-born star is taking a couple of years off from her fast-paced career to care for the her daughter, Ever, two-and-a-half, after finishing filming her latest movie, Dirty Girl, with Juno Temple and William H. Macy and the next one she has lined up, the thriller Faces in the Crowd, which will be ready by July. She has already filmed Resident Evil: Afterlife, the fourth in the saga, which will be in the cinemas in September. [...] And in October, her recent work, Stone, in which she co-stars with Robert de Niro and Edward Norton, will be premiered. “It’s been a crazy year,” Milla told reporters in Madrid.

Milla Jovovich, William H. Macy, Mary Steenburgen, Dwight Yoakam and Tim McGraw have boarded the cast of the indie drama Dirty Girl starring Juno Temple. According to Variety, the film “is set in 1987 in Oklahoma, features a high school tramp seeking the father she never knew who runs away with a closeted gay boy who wants to escape going to military school, portrayed by newcomer Jeremy Dozier.”

While the logline makes it sound like the film is a parody of an indie movie, first-time writer-director Abe Sylvia’s script was on the Black List (a list of the best unproduced screenplays in Hollywood). Jovovich will next be seen in Resident Evil: Afterlife, and Macy will next be seen in Marmaduke. One of those films could use more zombies and the other could use more talking animals.

A preview of some sort is arriving soon for Resident Evil: Afterlife. We're told one might go wide on April 30, hitting theaters with prints of A Nightmare on Elm Street. Paul W.S. Anderson's sequel doesn't open until September 10 (in 3-D) but we've got a look at the title treatment. Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Spencer Locke, Wentworth Miller and Shawn Roberts star in this entry. A full set report to come!
