She says Spain is one of her favourite countries and Madrid is becoming an ‘emerging fashion capital’. Although Milla was born in Ukraine, she considers Los Angeles, where she lives with her husband, mother and daughter, to be her true home.
“I’ve been lucky to be able to forge a professional career doing what I most love,” revealed Milla. “I’ve always worked to improve what I do every day. I don’t know whether I’m an example of that, but I certainly adore my work,” the screen-star and model told reporters.

More than an hour late but Milla Jovovich finally appeared at her date in El Corte Inglés of Madrid. In an event presented by Jorge Fernández, the model introduced the bag Tommy Hilfiger designed, wich 50% of the benefits will go for the Breast Health International. In view of the angry photographers, Milla Jovovich appeared very pleasant: “I love to be here in Spain, thank you so much for waiting”, she said. Besides, she flattered our country: “it’s one of the rising capitals of fashion and you appreciate good things, like this bag”.
The top model and actress came to El Corte Inglés wearing checked trousers and a blue shirt. We could also see the amazing diamond ring and watch she was wearing. There were a lot of people waiting for her and Milla Jovovich came to autograph some bags (she signed around four of them), t-shirts and some pictures. A lot of fans were there to receive her, talk to her and touch her. One of them even gave her two kisses.
Milla Jovovich defines herself as a “strong woman who also likes action”, but she likes to collaborate with humanitarian causes: “people with a public image have to try to make the world better”.

To finish the event, Angel Cogolludo, from El Corte Inglés Madrid, gave Jovovich a precious Spanish shawl, a gesture she complimented wearing it at the moment and making an amusing flamenco dance pose.
