BROADWAY cinema is going 3D for the first time with a screening of zombie thriller Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D next month. With a new state-of-the-art digital projector, the Villa Marina's cinema will become home to the most advanced 3D experience in the Island.
The equipment is capable of streaming full 3D live events such as concerts, live opera and major sporting events. The new projector will also become the primary projector for presentations and conferences at the Broadway Cinema. This means clients will be able to play their presentations in quality greater than domestic high definition.
David Cretney MHK, Minister for Community, Culture and Leisure said: 'The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure strives to offer the best leisure and entertainment facilities for everyone in the Isle of Man. 'With so many of the latest and best films being made for 3D viewing, I am delighted that the Broadway Cinema is now able to offer this to our customers.'
