The highlight of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin’s third day was the interview with the people behind this year's Mercedes-Benz Key Visual in the Mercedes-Benz Lounge under the event tent at the Bebelplatz. Under the campaign motto “Express your style”, model and actress Milla Jovovich, designer Philip Treacy, fashion photographer Miles Aldridge and Mercedes-Benz Head of Brand Communications Anders Sundt Jensen spoke about individuality, self-promotion and personal style in design and photography, and answered questions from the attendees. Much to the audience’s delight Philip Treacy had brought along the spectacular hat, made from 300 individually dyed and painted feathers, worn by Milla Jovovich in the new extravagant campaign for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class convertible.

Before the talk they all made an appearance at the first show of the day. “I especially loved Dorothee Schumacher’s designs because of her creative aplomb, femininity and great attention to detail,” gushed style icon Milla Jovovich.

12 designers were lauded the day before. Then too, the stars, who flew in to Berlin, embraced the opportunity to share in the enthusiasm of the industry crowd. Jessica Alba and Ewan McGregor’s presence lent a true Hollywood touch to the proceedings, while actor Matthias Schweighöfer praised the fresh and positive energy of the Spring/Summer 2011 collections.

Check out these first pictures of Milla Jovovich at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Schumacher Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Show in Berlin, Germany earlier today. Milla showed up for the show in a loose-fitting green silk dress, looking stunning as always, and was photographed front row with hat designer Philip Treacy (who designed Milla’s exquisite headpiece for the MB Fashion Week campaign), Mercedes-Benz Brand Communications VP Anders-Sundt Jensen and Christiane Arp, editor-in-chief of German Vogue.

Awesome news, you guys! Milla Jovovich, husband and Afterlife writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson and co-stars Ali Larter and Wentworth Miller are all confirmed guests at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. They will be part of the convention’s Resident Evil: Afterlife panel, as scheduled for Saturday, July 24. Details straight from the Comic-Con website:

4:00-4:45 Screen Gems: Resident Evil: Afterlife — In a world ravaged by a virus infection that turns its victims into the Undead, Alice (Milla Jovovich) continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

The fourth installment of the hugely successful Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil: Afterlife is again based on the wildly popular video game series and this time will be shot in 3D using the same state-of-the-art cameras created for Avatar. Writer/director Paul W. S. Anderson, along with the film’s stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, and Wentworth Miller, will be on hand to show you some stunning 3D sequences and answer your questions.

Unfortunately, it looks like all Comic-Con badges and memberships have already been sold out, but we’ll of course be covering Milla’s appearance at the event here at Milla Fan.
