Milla Jovovich joins Paul W.S. Anderson's 3D "Musketeers" film

With a pair of dueling "Three Musketeers" projects headed for fall starts, Paul W.S. Anderson's version has tapped Christoph Waltz, Logan Lerman, Ray Stevenson, Milla Jovovich, Luke Evans and Madds Mikkelsen for key roles. Anderson is producing and directing a 3D version of the classic tale, with shooting slated to begin in September.

Anderson co-wrote the script with Andrew Davies. Impact Pictures' Jeremy Bolt and Constantin Film's Robert Kulzer are producing with Constantin financing. Summit's distributing domestically and handling foreign sales.

05.11.10 - New film! Milla will play Milady de Winter in husband Paul W.S. Anderson's The Three Musketeers!



From The Hollywood Reporter: "Paul W.S. Anderson is culling actors from rising stars to Oscar winners for his 3D version of the classic tale The Three Musketeers. The project is slated to begin shooting in September.

Cast:

1. Milla Jovovich as Milady de Winter, a former love of Athos who is described as a "17th century Bond girl"
2. Logan Logerman will play the lead D'Artagnan, a young man who leaves home to become a member of the fighting force of the French king's royal household
3. Ray Stevenson as Porthos
4. Luke Evans as Athos
5. Matthew Macfadyen as Aramis
6. Christoph Waltz as Cardinal Richelieu
7. Mads Mikkelsen as Rochefort."
