Academy Award winner Robert De Niro and Oscar nominee Edward Norton reunite for this psychological thriller hitting Blu-ray this January. In an announcement to retailers, Starz/Anchor Bay says 'Stone is coming to Blu-ray on January 25.

Directed by John Curran ('The Painted Veil,' 'We Don’t Live Here Anymore') and written by Angus MacLachlan ('Junebug'), the Fall 2010 Overture Films release’s superb ensemble features Milla Jovovich ('The Fifth Element') and Golden Globe® winner Frances Conroy (“Six Feet Under”).

Steve O’Brien of WCBS-FM calls Stone a “gritty and engrossing thriller.” Adds Edward Douglas of, Stone is “captivating.” KNBC’s Jeffrey Lyons says “Norton is amazing”, while SSG Syndicate’s Susan Granger calls Stone “a superbly crafted, smartly acted, suspense-filled thriller.”

Jovovich delivers a startlingly raw, breakout performance as Lucetta, the sexy, casually amoral woman both men desire. Conroy, a Golden Globe® winner, completes the talented ensemble as Madylyn, Jack’s devout, long-suffering spouse. The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include a making-of featurette and theatrical trailer.

The drama "Stone" makes its Flagstaff premiere and exclusive one-night only engagement on Wednesday, Dec. 1, presented by Harkins Theatres and the Sedona International Film Festival. There will be one screening of the film at 7 p.m. at Harkins Flagstaff 11 Theatres.

A seasoned corrections official and a volatile inmate find their lives dangerously intertwined in "Stone", a thought-provoking drama directed by John Curran and written by Angus MacLachlan. Last night, Milla Jovovich was honored at the 14th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala on the last day of the Hollywood Film Festival with the Hollywood Spotlight Award for her critically acclaimed portrayal of Lucetta Creeson in John Curran’s psychological drama Stone. But I hve 2 start at 530 am tomorrow n do "good morning LA" then phone interviews, meet a director in the afternoon, then go 2 "chelsea" and after that get ready 4 the award ceremony! Then get on a plane the nxt morning (w mom in tow this time!) And fly back 2 germany 2 finish shooting "3 musketeers"! Whirlwind but amazing! I am so blessed! What a crazy year!

In an early alert to retailers Anchor Bay (A Starz company) has made public plans to bring the 2010 John Curran directed film “Stone” starring Robert De Niro, Edward Norton, and Milla Jovovich to Blu-ray Disc on January 25th, 2011.

No tech specs or bonus materials yet have been announced for the release but stay tuned and we will keep you updated. The title is already available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $27.99 price tag. [SOURCE]
